Embrace comfort & consciousness by choosing natural materials

The garments we wear closest to our most sensitive skin should not only feel soft but also provide optimal care for this delicate area. In this blog, we dive into the benefits of choosing naturally based materials for underwear.
The female body is complex, and natural discharge is a completely normal phenomenon. Naturally based materials regulate this aspect of your body's rhythm, allowing it to be absorbed without discomfort. Unlike synthetic fabrics, which can worsen moisture-related issues, natural fibers create a harmonious environment that respects and supports your body’s natural processes. Naturally based materials excel in breathability and promote good air circulation. This natural ventilation helps maintain a feeling of freshness, reduces discomfort, and supports your health. Additionally, naturally based materials are praised for their softness—perfect for your everyday experience.
Lyocell is an innovative fabric that has been relatively recently developed and is made from eucalyptus and beech trees sourced from sustainably managed forests. This fiber has exceptional properties that make it perfect for underwear. It is incredibly soft, highly breathable, and absorbs moisture better than cotton. Additionally, lyocell's production process is more environmentally friendly than that of many other fabrics, as it requires less water and fewer chemicals. Furthermore, lyocell is biodegradable and lasts longer than many other fibers. Lyocell is naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial, meaning it is less likely to cause irritation or allergic reactions, making it an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin. It also has a luxurious, silky texture and a natural sheen, making it not only look beautiful but also feel amazing against the skin.
One thing we want to be transparent about is that we cannot completely avoid synthetic fibers. To ensure a comfortable fit, stretchable materials made from synthetic fibers are necessary. That’s why our thongs contain an element of synthetic fibers (elastane), but they are made up of 92% natural fibers.
Another conscious design choice we have made is always incorporating seams. You might wonder—why? The reason we made this decision is that shifting occurs much more quickly when an undergarment is seamless. This way, we anchor the underwear in place!
